| Port of Dalian is the transshipment hub of oil products for Northeast Asia. The New Harbor Stevedoring Company and Siergou Stevedoring Company mainly handle loading, discharging, storage and transportation of crude oil, product oils and liquefied chemicals. The 300,000 dwt crude oil terminal in the largest in China at present, capable of accommodating 300,000 dwt super tankers. Plus the 150,000 dwt crude oil terminal, the product oils terminal and the supporting storage and transportation facilities which have been in operation for years, the NewHarbor has reached an annual transshipment capacity of 50 million tons.
Port of Dalian is the most advanced transshipment base for bulk, liquefied chemicals in Asia. The Odfjell Terminals (Dalian) Ltd., jointly invested and constructed by Port of Dalian and Odfjell Group Norway, is specialized in the transshipment of liquefied chemical products. |
